​Hello Coastal Social Marketing was founded by Devyn Kaizer in 2022, after having spent seven years working in social media marketing under the umbrella of other businesses ---- representing the voice of both local and large-scale brands.
Creating a social media marketing agency had long been one of her goals—but through her various experience, Devyn knew she wanted to do it differently.
Devyn's vision for Hello Coastal Social aims is to build an agency that invests in and supports their employees ---- where a four day work week is the standard, a livable wage is the minimum, and both physical and mental health is supported.

Having spent the bulk of my career in the heritage and tourism sector in Nova Scotia, I could see the value in social media marketing since its beginnings.
With experience managing campaigns for businesses since 2015 and completing the Social Media for Business Performance Certificate through the University of Waterloo in 2017—paired with over ten years of professional research and writing experience, and my own entrepreneurship journey, I understand what it takes to run successful social media marketing campaigns both on a large scale, and from a small business perspective.
With the aim to make social media simple in a way that works for your business—and to create a fresh take
on a marketing agency—I opened
